PLEIADES kick-off meeting held in Brussels

The kick-off meeting for the PLEIADES project took place in Brussels on 13-14 January.

At this first project meeting, the 12 partners came together to review the project’s work packages and discuss the activities for the coming months.

The event was led by project coordinator TWI and hosted by partner EuCIA. The Project Officer was also present.

We are looking forward to this ambitious project, which is aiming to develop advanced composite technologies to enable higher performing, more durable, and sustainable aircraft structures.

PLEIADES – Advancing Aerospace Composites through Induction Welding and New Vitrimeric Formulations Enhanced by Integrated Photonic Sensors, Providing Data to Digital Supply Chain, SHM, Maintenance – commenced on 1 January 2025 and runs for 36 months.
